总部位于美国俄勒冈州的International Green Organic Organization（国际绿色有机组织，英文简称IGOO），是国际第一个致力于绿色有机事业的公益性组织，是世界绿色有机产品标准化建设和认证推广先驱，也是全球唯一一个国际性绿色有机社团组织，由绿色有机企业、专家、学者、爱好者、志愿者组成，致力于地球健康和人类健康可持续发展。IGOO作为绿色有机公益性正义平台，客观公正的发布绿色有机信息，传播绿色有机理念知识，为会员提供绿色有机研究、教育、交流、标准共享、产品检测、认证、会展、营销、总部经济等系列服务，在全球设有21个分会。四川省工商联绿色有机产品行业商会（四川省绿色有机发展促进会前身）是IGOO目前在华唯一社团级会员。

        IGOO共识（宗旨）：自然界是人类赖以生存的物质承载和基础，自然界的健康关乎人类自身健康，甚至可以说没有自然的健康，就没有人类的健康。居于这个理念，IGOO认为：绿色就是环保，是指地球的健康即自然界的可持续发展；有机就是人的健康，就是人类社会可持续发展。绿色有机（Green organic）这个词语是绿色（green）与有机（organic）两个词的有机链接整合，意思是人与自然和谐相处共赢，是人与自然都健康，其本质是人与自然可持续发展。绿色有机学是研究自然环境与人类社会可持续发展的综合性学科，是绿色发展研究的方向。绿色有机是一种普世价值，它是无国界的。

        IGOO价值观：绿色有机行为的结果就是一方赢必成就他方赢多方赢局面，      所以IGOO主张：在绿色文明时代，盈利不再是企业的唯一目的，企业必须用责任生产出具有绿色有机价值的产品，而不是仅仅生产满足人的日常需要的商品。也就是说，企业的产品不仅仅具有商品的使用价值，这个产品还必须是出于绿色有机理念，是环境友好型和资源节约型的产品，是健康人生产出来的有利于人类健康的产品，一句话是具有绿色有机正义的产品。

        GOO在中国：IGOO通过中国第一个绿色有机组织四川省工商联绿色有机产品行业商会（四川省绿色有机发展促进会前身）的努力，在中国拥有会员300多个。IGOO通过有机认证机构在中国开始认证美国有机产品，从而为中国有机产品出口美国消除绿色壁垒，让美国人享受到真正的中国有机产品。同时，IGOO也通过游说美国政府，助推中美标准互认共享，实现双赢。IGOO在中国与中方战略合作单位共同举办永久性中国国际绿色有机博览会，这是全球绿色有机企业产品展示盛会。
